You don’t fall in love with studying by forcing yourself to sit longer.
You fall in love when studying starts feeling like growth, not punishment.

👇Here’s what made that shift happen for me (the psychology behind actually enjoying studying again)

1. Rewire reward NOT discipline:
Most people try to “force discipline” when it comes to studying. But your brain doesn’t crave discipline, it craves reward.
Link studying with something that feels genuinely rewarding to YOU.
The moment it starts feeling good, you’ll stop resisting it & start craving the process.

2. The 5min neuroplasticity window:
The first five minutes decide everything.
So just start even when it feels hard: just one line, one question, one note.
Tell your brain it’s ONLY for five minutes.
Once you start, your brain shifts from the "default mode network" (daydreaming) to the "task positive network" (deep focus)

3. Activate your "TEACHING MODE":
Stand up and pretend you’re teaching an invisible class.
Explain the topic out loud (draw messy diagrams, walk around, use your hands)
When you teach, your brain has to organize, simplify & recall, ALL AT ONCE.
That’s how real understanding locks in.
Even 5 mins of “teaching the wall” can do more for your memory than an hour of rereading.

4. Turn studying into a game:
If you’re even slightly competitive, USE IT.
See each chapter as a challenge, each test as a level to master.
Track your progress, celebrate small wins, aim to “beat your past self"
When learning becomes a game of growth, motivation becomes natural.

5. Design your environment for MOMENTUM:
Love grows where friction disappears.
Clean desk. One goal. Only the required materials. Phone out of sight.
The simpler your setup, the faster your mind sinks into flow.
