Found this absolute blast from the past while on a mini break in Buxton 🏔️🎮

Walked into a small charity shop, spotted a tiny gaming section… and then BOOM 💥

One game instantly unlocked core memories from my PC gaming days:

Conflict: Desert Storm
For anyone who remembers it — this was elite-tier tactical action.
Leading British SAS or US Delta Force, planning every move, switching between squad members, calling in air strikes, and surviving some seriously unforgiving missions.

No hand-holding.

No flashy nonsense.

Just pure squad-based strategy and intense combat across deserts and urban warzones.

Replaying this on PC reminds me why older tactical shooters just hit different. 🔥
