Cuando me dicen mis alumnos que les cuesta visualizar el jardín en 3D porque están trabajando el plano en planta (2D) les digo: el 2D es una representación gráfica del jardín. El jardín sucede y se vive y se lee en 3D. Es importantísimo representarlo correctamente, pero se debe PENSAR todo el tiempo de forma tridimensional. 

When my pupils express difficulty visualizing a garden in 3D while working on a two-dimensional planting plan, I remind them that 2D is merely a graphical representation of the garden. The garden exists, is experienced, and is interpreted three-dimensionally. While accurate representation is crucial, it’s equally essential to maintain a three-dimensional mindset throughout the design process.
