Design house es un proyecto que se tiene que hacer de forma muy rápida, no es para todos; cuando he invitado aliados muchas veces me dicen: “en otra ocasión cuando me avises con más tiempo”. Y la naturaleza de este evento es que no existe otra ocasión con más tiempo ni existirá. La casa se selecciona con poco tiempo de anticipación porque el mercado inmobiliario se está moviendo todo el tiempo y estamos siempre limitados por eso. Como dije, no es para todos, hay que tener una capacidad de respuesta inmediata, un equipo de trabajo sólido y forma de financiar el proyecto. Sin embargo, es preciosa la colaboración entre despachos, cuando existe una correcta lectura del espacio. La magia se produce y al final, el resultado es fascinante.

Design House is a project that must be executed very quickly, not suitable for everyone. Sometimes when I invite colleagues, they say, ‘Next time, when you give me more notice.’ But the nature of this event is that there’s no next time with more notice, it won’t exist. The house is selected with short notice because the real estate market is constantly changing, and we’re always limited by that. As I said, it’s not for everyone; you need immediate response capacity, a solid work team, and a means to finance the investment. Despite the challenges, inter-firm collaboration is thrilling when we perfectly grasp the space. The outcome is truly remarkable.
