El famosísimo libro del gran Maximino Martínez (1888-1964) merece un video. Aunque es difícil conseguir esta edición publicada póstumamente por fcemexico en 1979 les recomiendo que lo tengan. Fue uno de los primeros libros que compré y aunque no lo consulto ya tanto como antes (recuerden que llevo muchos años en esto, antes de los celulares con cámara, antes de las bases de datos súper extensas en internet) este libro es mi guardián, mi compañero y mi amuleto… Considero por tanto, que cualquiera que se precie de ser paisajista en México debe tenerlo en su librero. 
Yo sé lo que les digo cuando asevero que llegará el día en que lo necesiten y si no lo tienen…. ¿Qué van a hacer? Si lo ven por allí, atrápenlo (que solo se vende ya de segunda mano) y no lo dejen ir jamás… 

The legendary book by Maximino Martínez (1888-1964) warrants a video tribute. Although this 1979 posthumous edition published by fcemexico is hard to find, I highly recommend adding it to your collection. It was one of my first purchases, and while I may not refer to it as often as I used to (given the many years I’ve been in this field, predating camera phones and vast online databases), this book remains my trusted companion, confidant, and good luck charm... In my opinion, any serious landscape architect in Mexico should have a copy on their bookshelf. Trust me when I say that you’ll eventually need it, and if you don’t have it... you’ll be at a loss. So, if you come across it, seize it (now only available second-hand) and hold onto it forever...
