Türkiye achieved its #highestever export volume to the #UnitedKingdom for the January–February period, reaching $2.24 billion in 2026, according to data compiled from the Türkiye Exporters Assembly.
The figure represents an 8.3% increase compared with the same period in 2025, when exports to the UK totaled $2.07 billion. The growth highlights strengthening trade ties between the two countries.

During the first two months of 2026, the United Kingdom ranked as Türkiye’s second-largest export destination, after Germany. Türkiye exported $3.25 billion to Germany, while shipments to the UK reached $2.24 billion.

Other major export markets in the same period included the United States, Italy, and Spain.
The #automotiveindustry was the leading sector driving exports to the UK during the January–February period, with shipments totaling over $573 million.

Industry analysts note that the growth reflects continued demand for Turkish manufactured goods and the impact of ongoing trade cooperation between the two countries. Negotiations to update the Türkiye–UK Free Trade Agreement are also expected to further strengthen commercial relations.
