## Caption

She came to me for weight loss.
But when I looked at her thyroid antibodies — TPO was above 1300.
Every specialist had told her the same thing: Hashimoto's is lifelong. Manage it. Take medication.
I looked at her gut instead.
7 months later — TPO dropped from 1300 to 353. Thyroglobulin from 117 to 21.9.
Autoimmune disease is not always a life sentence. The gut was driving her immune attack the entire time.
