I once spent $5,000 on a makeup course.

Back then, I was on the edge of burnout.
Years in corporate world. Chasing promotions.
At some point, I knew I needed something different. 
I wanted to think in new ways.
I wanted to stretch my creativity.
I wanted my weekends to feel alive again.

Surrounded by color, brushes, and creative energy,
I felt alive again. That playful step was a turning point.

It taught me there are no limits to how you can invest in yourself:
➟ exercising
➟ buying books
➟ taking courses
➟ going to therapy
➟ prioritizing sleep
➟ eating quality food
➟ joining conferences
➟ pursuing a new education

Later, my own health challenges led me to study integrative nutrition and functional medicine - the foundation for my new career.

Of course in this new career, I’ve kept investing - 
to stay up to date, meet leading experts, and grow my network. That’s why I flew to San Diego for a recent conference.

I felt so proud writing all my credentials on my attendee badge - even if my family still teases me: “Not another course, please!” 😆 

I don’t see these as expenses.
They build long-term wealth inside and out.
They compound in confidence, clarity, and connection.
