I chose to celebrate it this weekend at one of my favorite places in Belgium. and it made me think about how many of us might already be living our once dream life.

Bruges was the first city I ever arrived after graduating in Turkey.

Back then, I could barely speak English, went door to door searching for a job, stood back up after countless rejections and visa struggles, and lived in a tiny dorm room.
15 years later I’m here again - this time with access to things that once felt impossible. Celebrating me, my memories, and this quiet beauty by the canal. This reflection is also a reminder for:
Take a step back from your next dream. Don’t rush.
Don’t be hard on yourself.
Be grateful for how far you’ve come.
