The American Society of Plastic Surgeons - mention that Botox which is 

✨Botulinum Toxin is an injection that ⚠️ temporarily reduces facial fine lines and wrinkles

Which I understand 

✨But here’s what raised my (eyebrows) concerns🙈

“Injections of Botox ⚠️ block the nerve signals to the muscle - in which its injected. 
And without a signal ❗️the muscle is not able to contract 😳

— here’s what I think
Our muscles are made first for function and then for aesthetics. 

We need them to contract and release for effective functioning of the face. And not just for movement. 

But also the lymph flow, the blood circulation, the tissue function, the connection between the other organs in our body. 

And by blocking the nerve signals, we are blocking so much. 

It’s like saying - hey you don’t like how your thighs look like, let’s temporarily stop their movement (paralyse) them.
