I could go on forever about the incredible women in my life - friends, mentors, and the women I admire for their courage, creativity, and generosity. Tag a woman who inspires you to let her know she makes a difference. International Women’s Day Reflection // 

The most important moments in my career didn’t happen in boardrooms.

They happened because of a well-placed introduction, an honest conversation that didn’t have to happen, a door held open by someone who owed me nothing.
·
Small gestures with long reach. That’s the quiet architecture behind most real progress. It rarely gets credited. But it moves things forward.
·
The women who influenced how I think and operate, across private markets, fashion, and everything in between, weren’t always the most senior or the most visible. Many were mid-pivot themselves. They were generous anyway. With what they knew, and who they knew. That combination is rarer than people admit.
·
My network was mostly forged in the pivots, not the peaks. I don’t take any of it lightly. And I try to pass it forward, especially to women still navigating without a map.

Raising two daughters, 27 and 22, I find myself thinking less about what I want for them and more about who I hope they become. Self-trusting. Discerning. Quietly strong. And generous with other women, not as an afterthought, but as a practice.
·
Strength isn’t only what you achieve. It’s how you carry yourself through the world. And that eventually becomes visible. Integrity has a way of surfacing. The warmth, the steadiness, the groundedness of a woman who knows herself. You can’t manufacture that. And you can’t hide it either.

Progress is built quietly - woman by woman.
·
The introduction you make today may change the direction of someone’s life tomorrow.
·
Never underestimate the power of opening a door you didn’t have to open.

That’s how it moves forward.
