Day 1 at Web Summit and I’m still processing everything that happened

Honestly, one day - and so many insights my head is spinning.
•Maria Sharapova talked about athlete longevity. How with technology you can track not just those 5 minutes when an athlete is on the court, but their entire life - how they train, what they eat, how they prepare mentally before a match. And how to keep athletes in peak form as long as possible. This is a whole separate story about longevity in sports 🎾

•Khaby Lame shared how he conquered the world with silent humor. His main goal was just to make people laugh. Then Hugo Boss came knocking and now he’s built an incredible business. Just like that 🤫

🔥And today I had a session with Sini Teikari - she brilliantly explained how hard it is for investors to choose which startup to invest in. Hundreds of projects, all interesting, all with amazing founders - and they need to pick just a few.
How critical it is for them to get the timing right and find the right exit, otherwise they lose everything.

You know what inspires me the most?
That here you have the chance to hear people from every side of the conversation, not just speak your own monologue.
It’s one thing to just present your project.
It’s completely different when you learn what others think about your project, what they see as strong, what they don’t see as weak.

This incredibly expands what you think, what you know, and most importantly - what you see.

One day. And already so many insights.
Tomorrow - new day.
