Things I wish I would have learned growing up:

✨It really, really matters how you talk to yourself and how you treat yourself. 

✨Take care of yourself first. 

✨Life is too short to live in the past. Making mistakes is part of life, continuing to punish yourself over them is not. 

✨Spend time with people who bring out the best in you. 

✨Choose to love yourself every single day. 

✨It all works out in some way. 

Instead of learning these things I spent years putting everyone’s needs before my own. I wouldn’t speak my truth, I’d let people walk all over me, and self-care was last on my list. The years I’ve spent taking care of myself have been worth it.
