Despite their screen time together in 1989’s Ghostbusters II, Slimer performer actressrshelby has never actually met Rick Moranis.

Speaking with hudsonvalley_ghostbusters on their Slime Time podcast, Shelby acknowledged that, because Slimer was created as a composite effect, she performed separately, even with a scrapped subplot that would have seen Louis Tully hunt the gluttonous ghost.

“One of my biggest regrets is that I never worked with Rick Moranis… although all my scenes are with him, I’ve actually never met him.”
