The Con Edison Student Athlete of the Week is Rye Neck boys basketball/baseball senior Davey Ryan.

Athletics: As a member of the basketball team, Ryan averaged 21.2 points and 11 rebounds in his career. He finished his career with 955 points. ... The two-time captain of the basketball team was among the Section 1 leaders in scoring and rebounding. ... He's garnered All-State, All Section and All-League honors this season. He also was a Section 1 All-Sportsmanship Award Selectee. ... He was the Booster Club Basketball Tournament MVP. ... As a member of the soccer team, he's earned All League and All Section honorable mention honors. ... Ryan was the starting defensive back and a key member of the 2024 team that won the Section 1 Class B championship, the regional finals and state semifinalist. ... As the baseball season starts, the three-time captain has helped the Panthers to 56 wins. ... As of March 25, over 150 innings pitched, Ryan has 145 strikeouts, 17 wins and a 2.32 ERA. At the plate as of March 25, he has a .317 batting average, .447 OBP, 70 hits, 55 runs scored, 50 walks and 45 RBI. ... Ryan's garnered All League honors and All Section honorable mention honors.
