High volume is total workload… sets × reps × load. When you increase sets and reps with moderate weight and shorter rest, you increase time under tension and metabolic stress. That combination is one of the primary drivers of muscle hypertrophy.

How to do this in your workout:
-Choose a weight you can control for 8–15 reps
-Do 3-5 exercises for the same muscle group
-Do 3-5 sets per exercise
-Keep rest at or around 30–75 seconds
-Focus on controlled tempo, not momentum

If the last few reps of each set are challenging but your form stays clean, the volume is appropriate. If you finish feeling fresh, volume is too low. If form breaks early, it is too high.

High volume works best when recovery and nutrition support it because more work requires more fuel. That means… EAT!!

This is how you build muscle without maxing out.
