Our friend averieswanson of Keeping Together is one of the most talented humans in the challenging and creative world of mixed culture fermentation. She needs help from the beer world having lost a major investment in a a tank builder that ran aground - more details are in the link in our bio. We have known her for many years and are fortunate to have brewed with her in Texas and also here on the farm, with the badass jesterkingbrewery crew when she was Head Brewer there and a force to be reckoned with when it came to zesting all that Texas grapefruit! The resulting beer, Zester Queen, was named for her and remains one of the most delicious offerings that have ever come out of our little operation. Averie and the Jester King crew really showed up that day and we memorably grilled out in the pouring rain and enjoyed a sense of what Averie has so well named a certain sense of camaraderie in life and work, Keeping Together. During the final stages of fundraising and her build out for a new brewery in New Mexico, a failed supplier has left her reeling from lost resources and so we are here to echo the call from burialbeer to lend a hand!
