 This series is one of my all-time comfort reads, and I’m so happy it’s finally getting the hype it deserves 🥹 The Plated Prisoner series truly has everything: a gripping plot, complex supporting characters, villains you’ll absolutely hate, shocking twists, humor, and that found family magic we all crave.

Auren’s journey hits hard. Watching her grow from a frightened, controlled girl trapped in an abusive relationship with Midas into a powerful, unapologetic badass is one of the most rewarding FMC arcs I’ve read. This is female rage, healing, and strength done right.

And then there’s Slade 🔥🫠 who knows him know what I’m talking about 🤣 My number one book boyfriend. I genuinely thought no one could replace Rhysand… until Slade happened. Mature, resilient, broody, morally gray, strong-willed, with a dirty mouth and an aura that screams don’t mess with me. A man willing to burn the world for her… and he did 😮‍💨

If you love dark fantasy romance, slow-burn tension, powerful FMC growth, fated mates, do yourself a favor and add this series to your TBR. Make it a reading goal for the year. Trust me on this one.
