## Caption

These are the main type of seizures I’ve had since I was a baby. They had never been this bad and I know I look rough.

Last week I went into Status Epilepticus from tonic clonic seizures (the convulsive type) and this week, pounding pain in the back of my head, electric shocks that jolted my brain with pain when I stood up, losing hearing when I moved my head too fast, blood pressure dropping at random, HR dropping to 30s-40s, yellowing in vision, and continuous absence seizures that were so extensive (severe contractions in my neck), I had trouble swallowing medication. A little too extreme to just be recovery from a Status.

In less than a week, I am back in the hospital and received a lumbar puncture and a blood patch in hopes to fix a CSF leak. I am seeing speech therapy to help with swallowing again.

I’m not going to lie, I’ve had much better days.

Thankfully, I had the best nurses and advocates this entire time.
