In my take, a cursed elf maiden stands before her mirror beneath a crescent moon. The pumpkins flicker, shadows dance — and she feels the spell tightening around her bones. She’s been trollbound, her heart twisting with ancient magic. This reflection will soon fade, replaced by something monstrous and eternal.

The animation is paired with the spellbinding song “Trøllabundin” by Eivør, which captures that chilling moment when beauty becomes myth, and the elven soul slips away into legend.
