Sup guys! Answering questions about the production of the initial lettering of the music video "NÃO ENVOLVE" by danielcaonoficial with kevinho , it was a relatively simple setup.

📕 I used tyFlow , an exceptional particle simulation plugin inside 3dsMax, which among all the features it has, it simulates cloth very well. Basically, I've turned the text into cloth, inflated it like a balloon, because I wanted to have a fluid movement, that would come up and reveal the name of the song. After that I programmed it to empty the text, and as soon as it hit the ground, I inflated it again.

In the second image of the post I put the flow I created for this. For the text to inflate and return to the shape of the original text, and not have as much distortion as a cloth, I used a Custom Properties to set the initial shape, and when it inflates, I used the Find Target to return to its initial shape. I fixed the base vertices of each text using a Surface Test by distance from an object that was at the base of each line of text, and turned off fabric simulation using a Particle Switch. And I used a tyFlow for each line of text, just offsetting the animations from the bottom line to create a time difference between the texts.

The rendering, as always, was with VRay, which as I had practically 1h between simulating and rendering the animation, due to the short delivery time, the hybrid CPU/GPU rendering, plus NVidia's Denoiser implemented in it, was what helped me sleeping early! 😇

📫 If you still have any doubts about the process, you can send a DM, that I'll answer asap.
