We met in 1988 on Super Bowl Sunday at a friend’s castle in Del Mar. jonimitchell got it right about love. Over time you learn a way of loving that’s different from the neurotic love enshrined in movies. It’s warmer and has more padding to it. After several decades we have a braid of love, steel and trust that just gets stronger until it’s unbreakable.
