Mayinias Altar is a personal project made of 27 sculptures; one for each of the 27 women in my family who have lived through different forms of violence.

Each piece honors their beauty, their presence, and the strength that has carried them forward.🫠🖖

This altar is my way of transforming pain into something sacred, a gesture of love, healing, and remembrance. It’s about turning wounds into wisdom, and honoring the women who taught me what resilience truly means.
