## Caption

Living between Berlin and Colombia has showed me a new connection with my roots, the earth, the Colombian traditions and ancestral skins. Berlin has mirrored old beliefs that I had, old patterns and gave me the opportunity to transform them into freedom and love. .⁣
This is one of the new materials Im working on; Bijao leaves ❤️. In Colombia it is the traditional wrapper for the Veleño bocadillo, a guava and cane panela candy.​​ It also serves not only as a wrapper, but also as a plate for the cake, a type of tamale typical of the Caribbean coast of Colombia made with rice instead of corn.
