Marking A New Chapter — “Outlandish Landscape” by Hoàng Anh 🦋

Art and Story have the power to form bridges — between worlds, cultures, and inner landscapes. ✨

This summer in Vietnam 🏡, before coming back to my other home in Europe, I acquired a piece that feels deeply symbolic of this chapter in my life as an entrepreneur, Vietnamese-French-American third-culture kid, coach, host, community builder, and young art collector:

Based in Dalat, Hoàng Anh creates dreamlike worlds where everyday Vietnamese symbols — like the humble red plastic chair — drift through surreal landscapes, exploring memory, belonging, and the space between the ordinary and the extraordinary.

At first glance, it’s serene — tall pines, layered greens, a distant island.

But then you notice the 10 red plastic chairs — a staple of Vietnamese street life — quietly inhabiting this otherworldly forest. 

Simple. Familiar. Yet out of place.
It asks:
✨ What does it mean to belong?
🌏 How do we carry the ordinary into the extraordinary? 
💞 How do we connect across cultures?
🫱🏻‍🫲🏼 How do we lift one another higher?

For me, this piece mirrors my own journey — building 10 Nexus Global, creating spaces where leaders, builders, and creators sit together, share stories and connect across cultures and disciplines, grow, and elevate one another. 💞

It also reflects the dance between individuality and community — between being the host and the observer, the extrovert and the introvert.

This acquisition for me marks more than a milestone.

It’s a reminder of why we build what we build:
to honor our roots, reimagine our worlds,
and keep elevating one another. 🌿🪄 

Fun update: I’ve been quietly hosting events, storytelling salons, and co-creating the next chapter of 10nexus. 

Can’t wait to share more about this in October, the “10th month” of 2025 🙂
