One theoretical longest walkable route runs about 22,387 km from Cape Town in South Africa to Magadan in far-east Russia using continuous roads and bridges without planes or boats. It crosses many countries, six time zones, deserts, jungles, and mountains. Walking it would take around 4,492 hours non-stop or about 562 days at eight hours per day.
