This old video popped up on my timeline from this exact day, Oct 7th, years ago. Spirit knew I needed this reminder. 🙏✨

In this video, I’m cutting my protective locs thinking they were blocking my growth. That morning at my altar, I received messages: Don’t dim your light. Know your worth. When I started cutting, I discovered 2-3 inches of NEW GROWTH I didn’t even know was there.

But here’s the real truth I shared: I was dimming my light because I was constantly worried about what others thought of me. I was making assumptions about what people were saying, and THOSE assumptions became my real blockage—not the locs, not my circumstances, but my fear of other people’s opinions.

As I’ve stepped fully into my ReBirth season, this hits different. We dim our light trying to avoid imagined judgment, when the truth is—their thoughts about us are none of our business. Our growth is.

The lesson? Don’t underestimate your growth. Stop assuming you know what people think about you—that’s a blockage YOU create. You’re expanding and becoming exactly who you’re meant to be.
