I am Swapnil Jadhav. Born & raised in Mumbai. Residing close to the airport, I had the privilege to wake up with the airplane’s engine sounds. Take offs and landings were like my morning alarms. 
Since my dad had been working for an airline in India, I have had the opportunity of seeing the cockpit from very close. I was a curious child who wanted to know how planes fly. It was an astounding experience. I never thought of becoming a pilot, may be an engineer, but obviously not one sitting in the cockpit and flying this beautiful metal bird.
But destiny had other plans for me.

I went for my CPL training and after returning, the aviation industry was hit by recession, as an airline had shutdown. I was unemployed for a while. As I was loosing all hopes, I took a ground job with Singapore airlines followed by Etihad airways in Ticketing and Reservations. While being close to aviation,it kept my spirits up, And going through all this and till date, my family and friends have been the best support. And I am really thankful to them.
 I then got an opportunity to work with Air India as a ground staff. Working at the airport has its own vibes. It always kept me motivated. With the financial pressure  always mounting I never gave up.  Working and studying simultaneously was the only option.  After a long wait, airlines started hiring pilots.
Air India was always close to my heart, and I always wanted to fly for the national carrier. While clearing my entrance exams with Air India and the aviation industry booming again, I got through Indigo as well. Never expected I would have to choose between two airlines. But they say, things happen at the right time and happens for good. It was hell of a ride. Here I’m as they say (bleeding blue) with Indigo past 3 years and counting.
