I will not apologize for my daughter's existence...

And I will not apologize for her taking up space where she deserves to be just as much as anyone else.

That doesn't mean things don't happen that I DO apologize for (or now, that she apologizes for), BUT...

I won't apologize for HER.

My apologies no longer come with shame.

I no longer feel small - like my family doesn't deserve to be there.

And for that, I'm so grateful to the woman at the Dickens Fair.
