She’d made it down the glacier in one piece. The map, sadly, had not. But Siobhán had a good feeling about this valley. The locals had spoken of it in hushed tones. “You’ll know it when you see it,” they said.

She saw it.

A mountain of presents. Hundreds of them. Piled high in the snow like some kind of alpine lost property office. Somewhere in there was the one she’d been searching for. The perfect gift. The one that had eluded everyone else.
