Is OMAD (one meal a day) really practical in today’s lifestyle?

We often hear that humans were never meant to eat three meals a day. In prehistoric times, during the era of Neanderthals, food was not always available. People spent most of their day moving around in search of food. If they found fruit they ate it. If they hunted something they ate that. Sometimes there were long gaps between meals.

But our lives today look very different.

Today we deal with long work hours, constant stress, travel, deadlines, poor sleep, and easy access to packaged foods everywhere.

In this kind of environment, expecting the body to function well on just one meal a day may not be practical for most people.

Our bodies today need steady energy, balanced nutrition, and consistency to handle modern life.

Sometimes the goal is not to copy how humans ate thousands of years ago. The goal is to eat in a way that supports the life we live today.

Do you think OMAD one meal a day works in today’s lifestyle?
