It’s Women Wednesday, and today we’re celebrating Sarah! 👏⚡

Sarah first connected with Leveling the Fields at just the right time, and from day one, she knew she had found something special. The mission, the people, and the impact of the organization all aligned with her passion for creating opportunities and breaking down barriers.

Growing up, Sarah played soccer from a young age all the way through college. The game taught her resilience, teamwork, and how to navigate challenges—lessons that continue to shape her career today. Now, as an architectural sign designer in a male-dominated industry, she’s had to advocate for herself time and time again. At first, it was uncomfortable, but after more than a decade in the field, she stands strong in her worth, her voice, and her ability to create change. 💪

One of the most rewarding parts of being involved with Leveling the Fields? The people. “Being surrounded by like-minded women (and a few good men!)” reminds Sarah why this work is so important.

Her advice to young girls? “Play any sport you want and play hard.” And to men and organizations looking to be better allies? Create an inclusive culture—listen, learn, challenge biases, and support work-life balance.
