## Caption

The Fosun Foundation, located at the heart of Shanghai’s financial district, draws inspiration from traditional Chinese theaters. Its dynamic, three-layered bronze facade, resembling bamboo, flows around the building, changing its appearance with every movement. As the facade cycles, it reveals the theater stage and offers stunning views of the Pudong district.

Spanning 4,000 square meters across three levels, the building hosts public spaces, a multifunctional hall, an exhibition area, and a grand balcony. Designed to showcase art, fashion, and culture, the Fosun Foundation has quickly become Shanghai’s new cultural landmark.

Conceived by Thomas Heatherwick and engineered by ECADI, the Fosun Foundation merges modern architecture with Shanghai’s rich heritage, filling the city’s last empty plot along the iconic Bund.
