A little glimpse behind the scenes 👽🛸⤵️

Those of you who follow my life regularly know this year has been intense. A big part of it was spent in fundraising mode for RTBT (Artbeat) rtbt_artbeat 🫀
Documents, decks, calls, conversations, explaining the vision and project again and again. For a highly artistic and creative human being like me, that was challenging. Sitting in front of a computer, knocking on doors, often receiving no’s, or not even an answer at all.

And for someone who is equally a hermit and needs to be alone to create, and at the same time a stage human being who loves other humans, community, energy, and shared creation, that phase was heavy. Even though I knew why I was doing it, something inside me was slowly starving.

And here’s what I truly believe:
Every human being is a creator. Not just artists or professional creatives. We are creators by design. And if you feel unhappy or stuck, I don’t think it’s mostly about what you’re working on. I think it’s about not creating enough. 🫶🏼

Even knowing this, I still fell into the trap myself.

Creativity doesn’t need rules. It doesn’t need to be productive or a job. It just needs an outlet. Any form. Any channel. Even if it’s just one evening per week.

I painted for the first 16 years of my life, since childhood, then stopped when I started working professionally. In 2023, something came back through me like a flash, and I started painting again. Since then, I’ve been finding myself piece by piece. Painting, next to music, is the most freeing expression in my life. Away from screens. Just me, the canvas, and flow.

In this video you see the process. Including the moment I almost f**ked it up by ripping off half the acrylic paint with tape… and how I restored it.
And you see me happy as f**k. Truly. Authentically. Painting one of my newest works.

I’m so proud of it.
