I’d never heard of burning man until I moved to SF. My aunt who is a tailor told me about all her customers who get crazy outfits made and it intrigued me. Working long days at Apple, even after 3 years I didn’t have a big community in SF, so I knew nobody who went to the event. I posted on Facebook about it and my friend Dave invited me to a burning man precompression party. There, I met my boyfriend who took me to my first burn! My life changed as I found a community of people like me that lived and breathed art. They became my family over the next four years, so much so they’ve adopted my own parents into the camp. Now we’re all family! Mission Complete #burningman2017
