The reality is, during the application phase you’re preparing for CRNA school more than you know.
 
You’re retaking courses. Difficult ones.
Simultaneously balancing work and studying for certifications.
Dealing with difficult personalities in the ICU jealous of your drive and ambition.
 
The struggle you’re going through now is preparation. We can’t prepare you for how much more difficult it is once you’re IN school, but trust us, the stress and struggle you’re going through now is only going to prepare you for what’s to come. So embrace the suck. You’ll be better off for it in the long run.
 
So what can you do now to prepare yourself for CRNA school? (Re) Figure out your study style. Be disciplined in figuring out/understanding how you learn. Not how your coworkers learn. Not how passgass2874 learns. How YOU learn.
 
Practice self-reflection. Find healthy coping mechanisms. De-stress your life as much as possible. Save money. Pay down debt. Organize your digital life.
 
The amount of stress that you’ll endure in CRNA school is unmatched, but you can prepare now by working on the “hard” things in your life now. Most important - understanding yourself and being real about your deficiencies and areas of weakness.
 
It’s all about self-awareness.
