The Moody Look 🎬

Every frame tells a story.
Subtle shadows, controlled highlights, and intentional color transform ordinary footage into cinematic mood. 

Shot On sonyalpha 
Graded in DaVinci Resolve. 

Process:

• If the video is a LOG, add CST (Color space Transform) to the last node. 

•1st Node - for Noise removal ( if noisy) 

• 2nd Node - Cool temperature + slight tint shift ( if you’re footage warm)

• 3rd Node - Lower highlights (soft roll-off)
 Lift shadows slightly (keep detail) 
  For that Use HDR wheels or Primary Color  Wheels 

• 4th Node- Add contrast with curves

•5th Node Mask the Subject in your video and create the opposite node of that node.
Use the HSL tool to make that node a deep green, reducing yellow and brown.

• Add tone LUTs ( Try my ND LUT in Cinematic LUTs or Moody Green LUTs)  reduce intensity of LUTs if needed. Also you can use multiple Moody tone LUTs from my Cinematic LUTs Pack
