Thank you to Courtney, one of our NAR contributors for this excellent post! I also went to a front-loaded program and I enjoyed it, although of course I have nothing to compare it to. Our program wasn’t remote, but it was nice to focus on just the classroom knowledge without having to balance clinicals. At the same time, some things didn’t quite “click” because I didn’t have the OR setting to connect the dots yet.
 
Overall, whether you’re in a front-loaded or integrated program, you’ll come out the other end prepared and ready to rock it, it’s just two different paths to get there!
