Thank you to Ashley, one of our NAR contributors for this excellent post! Picking programs to apply to is sometimes a process that people rush. The truth is, you should start looking way in advance because you’ll want to give yourself ample time to attend open houses, QA sessions, and even network with current students.

Plus, you of course know how big of a fan I am about attending in person events like National and State AANA meetings. Sometimes these events only happen once a year, so if you know what programs you’re interested in, you can plan ahead.
