Malaysian entrepreneur Arsyan Ismail sold AI.com for $70 million.

He bought the domain in 1993 at just 10 years old for around $100, simply because “AI” matched his initials—long before short domains were seen as valuable.

The deal closed in April 2025 with Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, making it one of the largest publicly disclosed domain sales ever.

Now, the vision is to turn it into a consumer AI platform where users can build personal AI agents to manage messages, organize work, use apps, and even trade stocks.
