What is deep neck sculpting?
.
It is not a single maneuver.
It is a deliberate, anatomy based correction of everything that pulls the jawline downward from within.

In this patient, deep neck sculpting included:
• Submandibular gland reduction
• Deep neck fat pad excision
• Digastric muscle reduction
• Digastric tendon plication
• Platysmaplasty

We do not perform all of these steps in every patient.
We perform only what anatomy requires.

In this case, all were necessary.

Why?
Because with aging, the mandible gradually resorbs and loses projection,
while internal structures, especially the submandibular glands, tend to enlarge and descend.
