## Caption

Kyrie Irving maybe the best scoring small guard in the history of the NBA. He is a sophisticated scorer because his fundamentals are on another level.

Here he has an isolation against a taller guard. As the defender tries to get closer to pressure him, Kyrie starts by getting in a stance that allows him to make a move and simply puts the ball between his legs which does two things: 1) Protects the ball from the defender 2)Makes Kyrie play lower. 

He then uses a cross step to go by the defender, using his left foot to step by the defender going right. This, with the combination of him starting low, allows him to get his inside shoulder to the hip of his defender.

Once he gets an advantage, he cuts the defender off, gets under control and plays off 2 feet in the paint, using a floater to score over much taller players.
