“So where exactly can I get my money?” - most frequently asked question for all the experts panels on the topic of the business funding. 

19.09.24. I was moderating the abba_business_ forum panel about #Financial #opportunities and practical advice on how to develop business in #Europe. 

My guests were a suspecious bouquet of the different business or funding organization’s representatives. Their experience is so different, than I even don’t know how dive in to deeper topics without loosing all the participants in the one-to-one conversation. 

- Sierž Naūrodski, ABBA Vice #President.
- Viktar Beliakou - #Founder of Enji.io. Real warrior right in the middle of the seed-round  money rising. 
- Weronika Chodacz. Incubation Specialist in TransferHUB in the Foundation for Social and Economic Initiatives.
- Diana Koziarska, Founding Partner at SMOK #Ventures.
- Paweł Michalski. Co-Founder and CEO of VC Leaders. 

I started with a common question: «Ladies and gentlemen, let’s imagine a small business looking to scale its #operations. In your opinion, what kind of fundraising strategy would you recommend for them to pursue to achieve this growth?»

Despite the differences between their experince domains, there have divided in to two groups: 
1. First one.  Those who relies only on themselves. 
2. Second one. “It’s much more easy to fund your business with the side money investments/grands, even if it worse you a lost of the operations control”. 

So every one has his own answer on my question. I consider it’s a good resume: we are different, there is no one single answer o my question. 

But it was. 

All of the participants agreed to one total resume: never ever try to fund your business with side #money, whatever it would be. Neither banks or investments. Until you checked your own ability to generate revenue.
