Something cool happened. I wrote a chapter in a book 📚 

I have written a chapter in the newest book of Caroline Carruthers and Peter Jackson - Halo Data!

They are 🔥 in the world of #data 

I had read Caroline and Peter’s previous books, with Data Driven Business Transformation one of my favs (if you are all about data or want to learn how to navigate this in your business - do check out their books). 

In August 2021 I reached out to Caroline Caruthers via LinkedIn as I was inspired to dive more into the world of data and how we can marry this with revenue. Honestly I wasn’t sure she would respond and fast forward a few months she asked me if I wanted to write chapter 4 in her new book! 

In RevOps often data is indeed at the heart of it. We are responsible for helping businesses drive revenue by: 

👉 Collecting relevant ICP information in the funnel to support marketing and sales activities 
👉 Use data to create automations and increase velocity 
👉 Transform data into insights to uncover opportunities for growth or cost reductions 
👉 Understand customers better to better serve them, retain them and reduce churn.

A lot of what we do is internal data monetisation or commercialisation. It’s a data-based optimisation approach to achieve economic growth. The book explores and gives a view on how we can understand and leverage the value of data. Definitely worth the read!
