Living by the ocean 🌊

I’ve often wondered why I’m always drawn to it.
It’s so majestic, with moods that change, colors that shift — sometimes splashing and hissing, and at night, when you arrive, it greets you warmly, wrapping you in its breeze and misting your skin.

I have so many memories tied to it 💌

I first saw the sea when I was 8 months old, and I’ve gone back every year of my life. With that thrill in my heart: “Daughter, we’re going to the sea!” Those trips meant gathering with our big family, jumping into the car, packing fruit and tea, driving along winding mountain roads, and someone always being the first to spot the sea and yell, “Seeeeea!” My mom created this tradition ❤️ full of joy.

The ocean was always the first place I went every time I landed in Hawaii.
After a walk by the ocean, lost in thought, I met my love.
Our very first date was there.
My first snorkeling trip, on my birthday, and my first encounter with the underwater world — all thanks to it.
When I felt down, I would just go there to sit in silence.
When I felt happy, I’d go to watch the most breathtaking sunsets in the world, like the best movie ever made.

I don’t know why it’s this way in my life, but it has always been a delicate, deep, and special connection 🔗
