🏛 Oia Castle — the heart of old Oia

Once, in the 13th century, this was a Venetian fortress.
It protected the island from pirates and proved that even in the middle of the sea, strength and beauty can coexist.

Today, only these walls remain — arches made of volcanic stone —
but they still feel alive.
When you stand inside, with the wind and the sea around you,
you realize this place still carries the island’s memory.

— Visit during the day, when it’s quiet.
— Walk through the arch, take your time.
— Stop for a moment and look at the horizon.

No decorations, no filters.
Just the sky, the stone, and the Aegean Sea —
everything you need to remember where you are. 🌊

В этом месте когда-то стояла венецианская крепость XIII века.
Она защищала остров от пиратов и напоминала, что даже посреди моря можно строить силу и красоту.
