Lots of people ask me what the point is and here is my honest (albeit biased) take:
- it’s a hangover cure. a 1-hr float feels like the rest you experience after 4-6 hours of deep sleep. it’s a nap on crack yo! 
- it soothes my sore muscles after training. i train 90-min a day minimum in addition to teaching 5-6 classes a day. safe to say my body constantly craves for this level of relaxation. 
- i can actually #meditate and practice #pranayama without any physical distractions or limitations. 
- if you’ve never had the pleasure of experiencing what #ZeroGravity feels like, #sensorydeprivation gives you that chance
- no lights, no sound, no physical distractions, just me, my mind, and my breath (and of course my #anxiety too but that’s a story for another day 😬)
