The heart is never lost... How to find joy in the details? 💫🌅🫶🏼🪐
Honestly, look through the eyes of a child. See the butterfly, observe the cute couple giggling around the corner, watch the playful puppy. Just feel life flowing through you. I get it; when you're in a dark period of life, it's hard to find joy. But once you realize how beautiful life is in all its small details, you will find magic.

Here’s a little example:
I got married at Burning Man, and a friend gifted me a heart-shaped bottle which we filled with Burning Man playa dust from our wedding site. After the ceremony, we jumped on our friend and photographer’s golf cart to shoot some photos at various magnificent spots on the playa. Burning Man is enormous, about the size of 3,387 American football fields. When we arrived at an art installation, I realized I had lost the chain. I accepted that it was gone—lost in the vast desert. I had lost a jacket before and never found it again.

However, two days after the wedding, a friend from our camp came up to me and handed me my chain. She had been randomly driving over the deep playa, and she remembered my words as the Cultural Lead of the camp: "Whenever you see trash or things laying around, no matter how fast you are on your bike, stop and pick it up." She saw something on the ground, stopped, and there it was—my heart. What were the chances that she would remember my words, find my chain in this huge desert, and bring it back to me? This was one of the most profound experiences I’ve had—a small thing but with an incredibly huge message.
