What does Fellowship mean to you? We asked RCGP East Scotland Chair, Dr Amy Knighton to tell us.

"I think it is a chance to really be appreciated for all the work that I do as a GP. Also, all the work that I have done with RCGP, working with students from school through medical school and other voluntary work. It makes you feel valued and that you have achieved something. Fellowship is something to strive for, the top grade of our professional body. When I received my Fellowship, my parents were able to be there and it gave them the opportunity to understand a little more about what I have done and I think it made them exceptionally proud."
