Yes, yes it was late 80’s into the 90’s but my main point was I don’t over-analyze the deal.  AND it was relative to today’s market in that investing is always risky ,and you should do your homework of course, but you also have to live and enjoy your home and your hood. Always shocks me how people over anal-lies :) their home purchase like it’s a stock price.  It’s your home. 

Enjoy it. Have the experience. Good or bad.  Make a bad investment in your home and get only a 3% return but have the experience.  Stock market investing is not an experience…. Don’t make that mistake.  You’ll soon be 63 and wondering what about all the woulda,coulda,shoulda’s.
